  • Chances are your neighbors are just checking for mold or mildew. Environmental testing services aren't checking for anything to out of the ordinary - radon, allergens, energy waste, etc. Your house was probably already checked for these things when you bought it

  • I think that you think about having your house inspected because alot of homes are not environmentally inspected upon purchase. Also, if there is anyone living in the house with severe allergies. Shundra(Patterson, LA)

  • The real question is why are they having it tested? Did they notice mold. Are they witnessing an oder.If the house is old are they concerned about asbestos or lead? New drywall may cause concern for Chinese drywall problems. Most of these issues are not inspected before a sale. All may cause various health related issues. The real question is do you have any of the above related concerns about your home.
