All major airlines offer discounts of one kind or another. Some will tell you that their flights are always discounted everyday, so they have no special fares. Other airlines offer specials throughout the year, particularly for travel during the off-season or downtimes. Discounts vary, too, depending on the days and times you are available to travel, so the more flexible you are, the more access you have to the lower fares.

The one I found with the best rating and reviews is called travelsecrets.com. It has been around since the mid-1990's and offers low consolidated airfare tickets, discounted wholesale hotel costs and even fantastic international travel packages. They also handle car rentals, tours and sport or theatre outings!

There are many discount travel websites but a few have gained a large following. The most well known is Priceline but this one is best left to the experienced user. It lets one bid on a fare and if win then that is the price you pay. However most people are not sure of themselves and tend to overbid or the going rate so even if they win it is not really a bargain. One that is very good is Orbitz. It does not have a booking fee and there is also automatic cash back feature guarantee if the same trip is booked by someone else and they pay a lower price. Also check out Travelocity, Hotwire, Expedia, Travel Zoo and Bookit.

You can find fairly affordable travel packages to Turkey on websites like Travelocity or Expedia. A package with plane tickets and boarding can cost from 3000-6000$. You can find affordable packages to visit the beaches at the southern coast that cover rooms and meals. Expect to pay more if you are planning to visit metropolitan areas like Istanbul or Ankara.

As with any destination, travel can range anywhere from the cost of a flight and a few nights in a motel, to the cost of first class airfare, a few weeks in a luxury resort, and entertainment and dining for the entire trip. http://www.ottawatourism.ca/ seems to have a wide range of packages available, from economy to luxury. Searching for a 5 night stay the prices range from $1000 - $4000, without any entertainment or dining included.

Travel agents can surely help with booking hotels. The agents I have been luck enough to work with are well educated in their field and have saved me money more often than not. Then there is the ease factor, making 1 call to a qualified expert that finds you exactly what you need rather than searching for the best deal for hours online.

Not a whole lot if you ask me. I've used the same travel agent for 10 years and she's booked both my business trips and my vacations. That said, I guess some travel agents may specialize in corporate or business clients while others concentrate more on the vacation and cruises crowd. My advice would be to just find someone who's a good travel agent and go from there.

Well, technically you could drive to Mexico. If you're going somewhere near the border, that may be acceptable. If you're going to somewhere further, like Cancun, you definitely want to fly or take a cruise.
-
Flights are incredibly cheap to Mexico if you search for special deals. If you're heading to a coastal town, consider a cruise. It'll be more expensive but you'll get the experience as well.
