This is exactly my issue too, no one wants to take on my Ex-husband's lawyer, they all seem afraid of him. (My ex was able to obtain him, even when I had gone to this lawyer 2 times within 3 yrs. of retaining my 1st lawyer.) My lawyer was very eager to help me when I retained her. I paid her and basically that was the end of it. She did not help me at all in court, and in fact seemed to be working with my ex's lawyer. I was given full custody of my two teenage girls, my 13yr. old car, claiming backruptcy to cover his court awarded debt too. He received the house with over 30,000 in equity, 38,000 of my profit sharing/401K,(this included 6 years of working for the company, that I didn't even know him), and his 2+ yr.old truck, the boat, the family dog, bare bone child support, doesn't have to cover any insurance for the girls. Even my newest lawyer let him take everything he wanted, so as not to make anyone, including the judge mad. This happens to people, it sickens me. What can be done, I have no more money, and they know that. Now, my ex decided that he doesn't want to pay 1/2 of medical bills, and may stop paying child support, as he knows I don't have the money to pay anyone to take it to court again, and there isn't a lawyer in the area that will do anything about it. I have tried and tried to get help on the internet, without luck. Is there anything that can be done?
