  • There are several requirements for obtaining a job as a real estate agent. First, you must be licensed from the state in which you intend to work. Second, you must be over the age of 18 to take the written examination. The other requirements vary from state to state. Some states may require you to attend a school or series of training seminars. While not required, the abilities to communicate, estimate property value, stay organized, dress neatly, and have a generally pleasant attitude are large assets in the field of real estate sales.
